GCA starts 2-0 with win in home opener.

The home opener went the Eagles’ way by a count of 88-58. It was a 28-8 third quarter that propelled GCA to the win after allowing Jordan Christian to close the gap at the half to 38-35.
A short-handed Galilean squad was paced by Caleb Burrows and his second-straight double double. The junior guard poured in 22 points, a game-high six assists while pulling down 10 rebounds. Burrows shot 81% from the floor missing just two shots. Senior Lee Van Lew II stuffed the stat sheet scoring 17 points to go with four assists and six boards as he also swiped a game-high four steals.
Freshman Aaron Brown notched a second-straight double double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Lucas Cook scored 14 points while dishing out four assists. Senior Javion Jackson put in 12 points and added four assists while grabbing five boards.
